Why would I want a home network anyway?

It used
to be that when you had two computers at home, you needed two
or more of everything like printers, modems, e-mail accounts,
Internet connections and so on. With a home network you
can share devices, programs and technology. The devices are
all connected to each other over inexpensive components. You
can share the more expensive of your devices like large hard
drives, printers, scanners and of course .. Internet access.
All of this requires a little more "management" than
owning a single PC, but that is why you are becoming the home
network pro.
